He turns to me after snapping at his friends, for rather telling him the truth. As usual, he’s a very proud and stubborn man, and truth be told I like him for that, because he’s taught me how to be heartless. It’s now a thing of joy, I love the new me, so brave and courageous and resilient and nothing can change that about me now.
“Baby please, let me see if I can make amends, change my ways and be the man you’ve always wanted me to be. I promise, I’ll do everything and anything you want just so I’ll stay and be with you. Just so I could see my kids, so I could still be their father especially now that I’ve realized myself…” He pleaded
“You just realized that you could be a father they never had, a deadbeat but still living together. No, it’s all in the past now, the only thing I want you to do for me is pick this paper and sign it, or later. Unfortunately for both of us, I don’t know how to forgive and I don’t do forgiveness. You all should leave my house now and go as far as you can be, don’t ever come back until I say otherwise…” I said as I was about to climb up the stairs
“You’re just this heãrtlêss now, I believe when you’ll realize what you’ve done it won’t be too late. I don’t know what I really did wrong, and I’ve admitted it and accepted my wrong. You still wouldn’t let go, not even ready to forgive me after all these. It’s really not fair, please I’m begging please forgive me and I will start all over again, I promise you please…” He said with a teary eyes
“Buddy, let’s go and like I said earlier, it’s Al over and done and there’s nothing left here for you anymore. Let’s go and I know, I know it’s a lot, it’s so painful but look at it and see how things turn out to be and it’s all your fault. Please don’t blame anybody, let’s go, it’s enough…” Charlie said and drag him out
“You better listen to them and take that divorce papers with you, sign it and bring it back. You should go so I’ll smell the good air, it feels so stuffy and suffocating in here…” I said and proudly climb the stairs without even flinching
A few weeks later, I didn’t hear from him only to hear he was admitted from heart attack, I was happy, he didn’t come to bug me anymore. When he was discharged after a few weeks, he he couldn’t get through to me. He was almost running mental, but that wasn’t my problem. His friends tried talking to me, but I walked them out of my shop, they came the second time to beg on his behalf I didn’t budge. Enyo had no where to go, he decided to go find his girlfriend. For a very longtime they’ve not been on speaking terms, it’s been that bad with them as Hannah wasn’t ready. Probably she was all up for the money, that’s the most painful part of it. Borrowed his friend’s car and decided to go talk things out with her. He got to her compound, a neighbor was just about driving out, as he was driving in and honking. Hannah saw him from the window, because her house is in front, three bedroom apartment.
He parked and came down from the car, he bought a few things, he was with his friend’s car. They’ve been the one given him money, they tried to get him a little job, but his pride and ego wouldn’t let him. As a millionaire before, who was also reading billion in his account. He turned it down, he bought things worth over 200k for Hannah so they could reconcile and reconnect. He knocked on her door, she opened the door and allowed him in.
“Baby, it’s been such a longtime and it’s been past long time we reconcile. It’s even the time we start all over, you don’t cal me and you don’t even talk to me. I understand but it’s fine now and we can work something out, I’m asking to stay with you for awhile…” He said as he dropped the bags he was holding
“Enyo, I know about everything that happened to you for the past year, and why do you think I don’t pick neither called you. Your wife took everything from you, she sold all your properties and even your money. You’ve got nothing absolutely nothing, so maybe I didn’t spell it out to you. Enyo, we’re done and that was a long time ago, basically I’ve been in my relationships and those who can do it. I mean, you’ve been the one thinking we’re still having something going on…” She said as she stared straight on the TV and focusing on it
“What, I don’t believe it, by the way, how did you get to know all that. Well I know, it’s no longer new or hidden. You can’t leave me because my wife are over according to her, and you too, you can’t be over with me. I’ve never wronged you, infact, it’s because of you I’m in this mess right now. I took care of you, love you, solve all your. Problems and love you more than my wife. That’s why I’m here now, I’m in this mess because of you. And how you’re leaving me and done with me because there’s no money anymore?…” He said with a surprise look on his face
“No, you’re just delusional, and you didn’t think I’ll still wait for you to fix your life or get it right. I’m not the cause of your problem, you are, dude…” Hannah snapped getting up to her feet
