I decided to wait until they were finished. I wasnt going to let this go. After all, Id lived in this neighborhood for over 30 years. I knew when something didnt feel right, and this… well, this definitely felt off.

As the kids disappeared around the corner, I slipped on my gardening gloves and shuffled out the front door. The cool breeze caught my hair as I walked down the sidewalk toward the bush.
