The couple welcomed a son, Redmond, in 1985. His on-and-off relationship with Farrah, though never formalized in marriage, endured as one of Hollywoods most celebrated romances, persisting until her passing in 2009. While filled with passion and affection, their love story also bore witness to many challenges.

Ryans protective nature towards Farrah was evident, particularly during public appearances where they played to the cameras with ample displays of affection.
