Sifan Hassan is gearing up for a highly anticipated return to the event that marked her entry into marathon running, as she prepares to compete in the 2025 London Marathon on Sunday, April 27.
The three-time Olympic gold medallist made her marathon debut on the renowned London course in 2023, where she achieved an impressive victory with time of 2:28:33. Following this achievement, Hassan went on to win the Chicago Marathon later that year and clinched the women’s marathon gold at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. She also secured bronze medals in both the 5000m and 10,000m at the same event.
